Campcheck monitors publicly available campsite booking pages (SANParks, CapeNature and Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife) and notifies you by email — and, on paid plans, WhatsApp — when a site you are watching appears to have availability. Campcheck is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any of these reservation authorities.
We do not make bookings on your behalf and we cannot hold or reserve a site for you. Availability changes constantly and a spot shown in an alert may already be gone by the time you act. We do our best to check regularly and alert quickly, but we do not guarantee that we will detect every opening, that alerts will arrive at any particular time, or that a site will still be available when you receive one. You are responsible for completing your own booking on the relevant park's website.
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for the accuracy of the email address and phone number you provide. You must not use Campcheck to send alerts to anyone who has not agreed to receive them.
Paid plans (Pro and Premium) are billed annually through PayFast. Your subscription renews automatically each year unless you cancel it from your dashboard before the renewal date. Prices are shown in South African Rand and include any applicable taxes. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may downgrade your account to the free tier.
You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current paid year. Because the service is delivered continuously, annual fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If something has gone wrong, email us — we would rather sort it out.
Please don't attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, or resell the service, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or that put our access to the underlying booking sites at risk.
Campcheck is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any missed booking, missed alert, service interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above, and continued use of Campcheck after a change means you accept the updated terms.
